With the advent of the internet there is no longer any excuse for not learning music if a person wants to learn. Learning music online has revolutionized learning, since it is the first time in history that anyone with a computer that can find anything you want to know about music – and find faster!
There are plenty of sites all linked to the teaching of music for trombone chord lessons to drum lessons music theory lessons to classes guitar to piano lessons, and more. Many are free while others charge a very reasonable tuition. But think what a business that is, no travel, no traffic jams, no rescheduling of classes, no classes missed, and because the classes are online (or in some cases, CD's and DVD's) that can be repeated again and again until the lesson is well learned, it is not the case in a personal lesson or a classroom at the university. You have an opportunity to understand, and if you do not, you immediately behind the curve and have to do additional studies to catch up. Not so with online music lessons.

With this abundance of material online, there is no excuse for anyone who really wants to learn music to not use the opportunity, especially when they realize that this is the first time in world history that this wealth of knowledge has been available with the click of a mouse.
