Looking for a recipe for cookies with maple?
A friend of mine used to have a cookbook that she believes that she collected in Maine in one of the margins of the road is maple syrup. She said it was small and the paper again. Inside is a recipe for maple sugar cookies. She recalls that it to use the maple syrup and she believes that the sour cream was also a incredient. Does anyone have a recipe for these cookies? Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
I have a small paperback book "Diary of Vermont Maple Cookbook." You have several cookie recipes, but nothing that includes sour cream. I, however, find a recipe for maple leaf, which includes sour cream: 2 ½ c. sifted flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 ½ tsp. ½ teaspoon ginger. salt 1 egg 1 cup 1 cup maple syrup sour cream 4 Tb. melted butter Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine eggs, syrup, sour cream, and melted butter and mix well. Combine flour, baking soda, ginger and salt and beat the dough until well blended. Pour into a greased and lightly floured 6 "x 10" x 1 ½ "pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35 min. or until the cake is removed from the pan sides. cool before frosting with Easy Maple Frosting (enamel): 1 ½ c. sugar glas 1TB. maple syrup to make glaze cream right consistency
