How old do I have to start young adult books?

I'm 11, but I have a very good standing under the books and their contents. I have read Vampire Academy, HP, Twilight, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars.

I think you should wait a little longer because some issues are not really for their age. You should start with books for her age, but if you want to read young adult books to try.
